Accredited hypnotherapy trainingCourse accreditation is essential. Legally, anyone can set up a hypnotherapy training school and conduct courses of any length and any quality. Accreditation gives you and the public confidence that you have received thorough training so that you are a competent, confident and ethical practitioner. Please think carefully if you feel tempted by a short, cheap, unaccredited hypnotherapy course. Not only might the standard be poorer but you may find it difficult to obtain professional membership or insurance. Variously, our courses are accredited and/or recognised by:
General Hypnotherapy Standards Council
National Council of Psychotherapists
Upon course completion you will be able to join these organisations and their registers as a member, except the Open University (which you would join as a student if desired) and NCFE (which is a national awarding body and as such doesn't have 'members'). This gives the public confidence in your standards and ethics. You will also be able to enter your contact details on their websites to attract enquiries from potential clients. Dr Paul Peace is a Chartered Psychologist with experience in university lecturing, hypnotherapy and psychotherapy.
Both Paul and Karen are accredited hypnotherapy supervisors with, variously, the National Council for Hypnotherapy, National Council of Psychotherapists and General Hypnotherapy Register. You can have complete confidence in our hypnotherapy course! |
